These figures are by the International Diabetes Federation, an alarming news for Pakistan as well. According to the report, Pakistan figure among the top 10 countries for absolute increase in diabetes prevalence, with over 19 million people suffering from the disease. With an aim that public and private health facilities must be proactive in dealing with this distressing state of affairs by raising awareness and early testing in Pakistan particularly and world around generally is BAD’s motive.
