Faisal Shahzad a family man?

Why it is that Dr. Oksana Fedorova, Dr. Adrian Holt, and Fahad Sher always request me to write on topics which may be termed controversial but nonetheless it is fun to write on topics which may pronounce my thoughts and not reflect the issue in general. One such issue request is to write on Faisal Shahzad. Now the world media is so full on him that I rather not write on what he did and why he was convicted but my opinion on the whole scenario.

Over-Islamisation of our youth has put the country in danger. The mullah’s intervention in the education of youth has cost us hugely and I am all out against it. However, I continue to emphasize to bring forth the true spirit of religion, which is affection and tolerance. There is a thin line between the teachings of mullahs and pure Islam that needs to be spotted. Only then can we help the youth of this country to come out of the state of perplexity they are in.

Faisal Shahzad the Black Sheep in hidding

Faisal Shahzad, a 31-year-old native of Pakistan and a naturalized US citizen, has been sentenced to life in prison for a failed car bomb attack in New York’s Times Square. Judge Miriam Cedarbaum said, “You appear to be someone who was capable of education and I do hope that you spend some of the time in prison thinking carefully on whether the Quran wants you to kill a lot of people.” He responded to the sentence by saying that “the defeat of the U.S. is imminent.” When asked by the judge “Didn’t you swear allegiance to this country?” Shahzad, replied “I sweared, but I didn’t mean it.”

Extremism has no place in a civilized society and Faisal Shahzad betrayed his adopted country. We must strive to promote tolerance and peaceful coexistence, the kind that allows us, as a society, to respect individual rights and diverse opinion and work for the betterment of humanity. Islam is, in fact, a religion that promotes peace and understanding amongst people of all faiths, and it strongly prohibits all forms of violence and aggression against all people regardless of their faith and race.

  1. Dear,

Seeing the topic I was wondering what the content can be. 🙂

Well I don’t have the detail info of this incident but in short we should respect each and every individual right irrespective of cast creed and color and should only follow what Islam teaches us.
