Slavery is a weed that grows on every soil even when you are part of a Beauty Pageant!

No dreamer is ever to small… No dream is ever too big

All men of action are dreamers.

A dark blot on humanity that is often ignored, or that we turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to, is human trafficking. Much of the developed world is either unaware or doesn’t want to think about the horrors of the evil that permeates society. Young people, mostly girls, but boys, too, are lured away from their poverty-stricken families by the promise of good jobs and enough money to send home to support their needy families. This promise is easily grasped at when a family has little or no income, many mouths to feed, and nothing but a shack to provide shelter from the elements.

From being the founding member of Pakistan based SOME – Save Our Mother Earth a NGO geared towards educating the youth about environmental causes. Besides to it being also the founder of BAD – Battle Anti Diabetes. When still in my teens I got involved with beauty pageants and formed Best Model Pakistan an organization responsible to select Pakistani representatives for various international beauty pageants with an aim to promote Pakistan as a tourist friendly country and through the course of this I learnt a lot about the above mentioned unspeakable vice, and how horrible it could be when unsuspecting foreigners come in, and they may be highly prized. Especially when the foreigners are a group of beautiful young people who are competing in a beauty contest. Thus came in an idea to write a story as a fictionalized account stemmed of a real event.

The Pageant Trap
The Pageant Trap is available at all leading online bookstores

The Pageant Trap my debut novel is a tale of an international beauty pageant taken over by unsavory characters is full of danger, intrigue, and betrayal. A contract between the pageant’s organizer and an events coordinator is broken before the contestants are even in air to attend the pageant. Things go from bad to worse, as the group is housed in first one hotel and then another, none of which are the five-star hotels they were promised. One of the girls is kidnapped, and scary-looking men with AK-47s surround a tacky hotel the group is forced to stay overnight in. When the pageant’s organizer learns that the city they have been taken to is home to a human trafficking ring that preys particularly on foreigners, he begins to plan his escape and that of the others. To learn if any part of the pageant goes as planned, and if any of them make it home to safety, pick up your paperback copy of The Pageant Trap at a discount of 60% exclusively from Lulu bookstore. Apart from Lulu, The Pageant Trap is available at all major online stores including the Amazon and Barnes&Nobles.

Apart from writing blogs and now stories like the above, I am a keen learner of different social cultures and my mantra is that for good ideas and true innovation, one need human interaction, conflict, argument, debate and social media allows me to pick my times for social interaction! I love being criticized as for me it is not a tough thing to handle as it is very useful to help me grow or improve something I do. Just remember that things were created to be used. The reason why the world is in chaos is because things are being loved and people are being used. Writing this story I did my little so that let it not be said that I was silent when they needed me.
